Opaque to Transparent to Designer
Opaque fabrics
Opaque fabrics are a light filtering material, it does not allow light to pass through like transparent fabrics. When selecting this type of fabric for your skylight you will not able to see through. These fabrics are used more for privacy. Depending on the material used can vary the percentage of light filtering.
Black Out is not offered in our standard selection.
Transparent fabrics
Transparent fabric are a see through material which allows light to pass through. There are several degrees of clarity from 1% - 3% - 5% - 10%. The lower the number, the less visibility, (As seen below). You can block that harsh sun light but enjoy looking at the sky through your custom skylight Shaads cover.

Are offered in 3% clarity - all other degrees of clarity will need to be custom ordered, if in stock, and at a higher cost.
Designer fabrics
(Available only in custom orders)
Designer fabrics can come in many types of different materials, opaque, transparent, blackening, and others. It is a fabric of different textures, design patterns, blends, colors and more. Some designer fabrics can be either Opaque or Transparent It is the process of creating a design on the cloth, with different colors on the same fabric, even to different degrees of clarity. More used on Doors and window coverings.
