You may hear opaque fabrics described as light filtering, but unlike transparent fabrics, you cannot see through them. They are ideal for spots where you want to block visibility.

Perfect for Skylights & Windows:
See out while light filters in. Transparent fabrics are ideal for skylights and standard windows where you want natural light but need to reduce glare and heat.
Transparent fabrics are see through fabrics, or sun shading.
This type of fabric allows you to see through while shading and filtering the sunlight. Different percentages determine visibility. The lower the percentage, the less you see through.

After reviewing options, we found 3% transparency offers the best balance of visibility, shading, and filtered light. We keep 3% in stock. Other transparency levels are available by special order.

Below are Levels of Transparency
Transparent fabrics are see through fabrics, or sun shading (as seen below.)
This type of fabric allows you to see though and allows filtered light to pass through in different percentages. The lower the number, the less visibility example 1%. (See below).
Our transparent fabric and colors that we offer in house are in 3% transparency. All other degrees of Transparency will need to be Special Ordered and have a higher pricing.
